Neighbors Empowering Students & Teachers to SOAR

NEST is Bethlehem Elementary School’s PTO. NEST is a small collection of BES parent volunteers. How much or how little we accomplish depends solely on help from parents and community members like you.
See our ABOUT section to learn how you can do your part to help us make Bethlehem Elementary School
an exciting, fun, enriching, and vibrant learning environment for all our children.

What does NEST do at Bethlehem Elementary School?

  1. We Host Fun Events
There's something exciting happening at BES every month thanks to our fun Annual Events, including an Ice Cream Social, Harvest Festival, Movie Night, and Book Swap—to name just a few. Check out our EVENTS, sign up for our emails, and visit our Facebook page for more info.
  2. We Enrich Students
We contribute to SOAR Awards, Fund Field Trips, Donate to STEM Projects, Provide books to entering Kindergarteners, Expand Reading with our Book Swap, Promote School Spirit with our Eagle Gear, and support various student incentive programs throughout the year.
  3. We Support Teachers
NEST is always on call at BES. We work closely with our BES Principal and staff, ready to help with any need that arises. We also maintain a Lead Classroom Parent Program, Provide Funds for Teacher Appreciation Gifts, and organize an Annual Teacher Appreciation Breakfast | Lunch.
  4. We Give Back
It takes a village to raise a child, and ours is a pretty great one. We count on the generosity of our community members and businesses, and pay it forward by holding a Holiday Food Drive, funding Holiday Food Baskets for BES families in need, and joining in our Annual Roadside Cleanup.
